Where It Started...

In April of 1949 Harvey and Edna Vaughan opened the first location of Vaughan’s Jewelers in Downtown Wilson.   Later, their son Bill and his wife Kathy took over, and the store was moved to Wren Village Shopping Center in August of 1977.  The last move took place in October of 2011 when we moved to our current location in Shoppes at Brentwood.

 In November of 2001, Bill and Kathy’s son Tripp graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in California with a Graduate Gemologist degree. He returned to Wilson to add his expertise in gems, jewelry design and appraisal to the trusted sales and repair services offered. In addition, his wife Anna Belle Vaughan joined the team in June of 2015 as the store's Marketing Director and is a valued sales team member. 

Today, the Vaughan's Jewelers team consist of Bill, Kathy, Tripp, and Anna Belle as well as two full-time employees and three part-time employees.  We have grown exponentially in many ways over the last 75 years and are so excited to continue serving our loyal customers, both near and far.
